Help your potential clients realize how you can help with great marketing; the best public relations events end up giving you a new lead. What's public relations? A wide range of activities can be considered PR, from business marketing to personal luncheons. Outreach in magazine is the most common form of lead-generating PR. The object is to get a mention for your business, service, or staff members to appear in a publication.
Alternatively, one of your management staff can have something published which they write or have ghost written. This sort of press can have a big effect on the number and quality of leads you generate. However, although this kind of PR is cheap compared to advertisements, getting covered in magazines requires sustained effort and a time commitment, in order to nurture relationships with magazine people in your business field. An organized campaign is usually more successful than scattered attempts at getting press. The best campaigns utilize the following elements:
1) A press release
2) A press kit with bios, product photos, and reprinted content
3) Good relationship with the press
4) Features supplied by managers and other staff
5) Media coverage featuring your employees as industry experts
6) Testimonials
Complete the following actions in forming your program:
Research, compile and read the publications. What's the audience? Think about the info that gets published - is it news? Make your contributions appropriate. Talk with the writers and go to the web site. Who's the right person to talk to? Call the editors and ask for submission guidelines and what they like to publish. Try to find the editorial calendar and see what stories they're running month by month. You can usually find this on the last page of the magazine or at the site. Then decide what you'll submit, and what publication month to target your efforts toward. Don't give up - keep at it to gain rapport with editors. It gets better with time. By becoming a source of relevant info, you may supply the publication with information which is vital to their readership, and become an important contributor. Your pitch should explain how it is relevant to the editorial calendar - offer to provide an outline upon request. It can be a good idea to use a ghost writer, as these professionals have experience working for magazines and can form the article to the format of the publication with relative ease. These deadline-driven contractors will take the initiative to get the work in on time, freeing your technical or management employees to work within their fields of expertise.
Be sure your press release provides newsworthy content. It should answer some of the following questions:
1) What's the problem you help solve?
2) What is accomplished?
2) What's the take-home benefit?
4) Is it a product or service?
5) How can it do this?
6) Why will the readers be interested?
7) How much does it cost?
8) What are the main features?
9) When's it available?
Don't brag about yourself or your company. Steer clear of words like "best," "revolutionary," and "unique." These are overused. Editors prefer testimonials instead. Avoid language that is inaccessible to a lay person. Really, even the writers won't have an expert understanding of your offerings. Keep it simple. Always include contact info in two places on the page, and photos if accepted by the publication. Most prefer digital images. Name these files with relevant terms that one can search on to find them. In short, do the prep work and make it easy for them to run your piece.
PR can help improve Search Engine Optimization efforts as well. For example, wire services are excellent - after sending these out, your release will be discoverable by search engines and news wires. By including links in your online release, you can raise your info in the search engine rankings. A recent survey showed that most journalists use the Internet daily. About 75% of them make searches for press release info. For a free news wire to get you started, try: http://google.com/alerts and create a free subscription.

History of Hoodia Gordonii as a Weight Loss Supplement
People who are a fan of diet pills will have heard of the recently discovered effects of Hoodia gordonii. Hoodia gordonii is an herb found to reduce appetite resulting to weight loss. It has only been popularized recently due to the ban against the diet herb ephedra, which has known to have side effects on its users. And with society dictating that thin is beautiful, everyone is more than welcome to accept a new and thought to be safer diet pill in the market.
Hoodia gordonii is a cactus-like plant found in the deserts of Namibia, Angola, Botswana, and South Africa. It largely resembles a cactus but it isn’t really one. Studies show that this succulent plant was being consumed by the San Bushmen of the Kalahari Desert to ward off hunger and thirst during extended periods of hunting. It was known that they would cut off the stem and eat the bitter plant while on a hunting trip. The purple flowers of the hoodia gordonii will take five years before it appears and only then can it be harvested.
There are several varieties of hoodia but only the hoodia gordonii variety is known to have the active ingredient called "p57", also known as steroidal glycoside. The first company to license p57 was Phytopharm and has spent over $20 million dollars in hoodia research. Pfizer, a pharmaceutical giant, recognized the potential of hoodia in the market and asked Phytopharm to allow them to sublicense the rights to develop p57 for commercial production.
Hoodia gordonii gained popularity after a TV correspondent Leslie Stahl traveled all the way to Africa to try hoodia. They hired a local Bushman to track down some hoodia and she tried it for herself. After eating the plant, Stahl has reported that she lost the desired to eat or drink for the rest of the day. She didn’t feel any immediate side-effects as well.
At present, hoodia gordonii is sold in powder, capsule, liquid or tea form that can be found online and in the local health stores. It is also an ingredient in popular diet pills. Albeit popular, there are no published results of controlled trials that the herb is safe to take in pill form. Hoodia gordonii works by altering the ATP levels so that a person will no longer feel hungry or thirsty.
Although hoodia gordonii is a relatively safe pill to take, its side effects are not known. It may not have side effects on the San Bushmen but that is because they are not taking any other type of medications unlike the populace today. Studies have not been made as to the interaction of the herb to other drugs. The intake of the herb can also be dangerous for those who have diabetes because with the hunger mechanism turned-off, blood sugar can get really low.
As with other supplements, it is wise to verify the product before actually using it. With the many suppliers of hoodia gordonii in the Internet, it is best to be cautious and do a thorough comparison of hoodia products before buying one.

Exotic Loan Programs Always Fail
Over the last 60 years since World War II ended, a number of experimental loan programs have been attempted. These include interest-only loans, adjustable rate loans, and negative amortization loans among others. It is this group of loans that has consistently failed in the past for one simple reason: if payments can adjust higher, people will default. High default rates doom mortgage programs because these high default rates will eventually cause large default losses for the holders of these loans. The Option ARM is certainly the most sophisticated loan ever developed. It is also a dismal failure, not because it lacks sophistication, but because it has embedded within it the possibility (near certainty) of an increasing payment. Any loan program that has the possibility of a higher future payment will fail because there will be a certain number of people who cannot afford the higher payment. Those who cannot afford their payment end up defaulting and the property goes into foreclosure. Here is where the lenders delude themselves and deceive the general public after a financial debacle like the Savings and Loan problems of the 1980s or the great housing bubble. They blame the collapse and the h
igh default rates on some outside factor rather than the terms and conditions the lenders created all on their own. There are still many out there who believe the high default rates and problems in the housing market in the 90s in California were caused by a weak economy. This is rubbish. House prices declined for 6 years. The decline started before the economy went soft, and it continued well after it had recovered. People defaulted because they overextended themselves on loans to buy overpriced housing, and toward the end of the mania, many were using interest-only loans. We are likely to see a repeat of these conditions in California in the wake of the great housing bubble. In fact, it will likely be even worse. Whenever lenders start loaning people money with total debt-to-income ratios over 36% people will default. Whenever lenders start loaning more than 80% of the purchase price, people can sink underwater and when they do, they will default. This is not new. It happened in the early 90s; it happened during the most recent housing bubble, and it happened for the same reasons. Exotic loan programs always fail. It is only a matter of when and how disastrous the outcome is when it happens.

Thank You Pages - The Missing Element
Thank You pages are a very underutilized resource in internet marketing. If you are not using them correctly, it could be costing you money.
When you get to a thank you page on the internet, one of two things just happened. Either you just bought something or you signed up to be on someone’s email list.
In either case, you were successfully guided through the decision process and you trusted what you saw enough to buy or sign up.
What you may not realize is that once you get to the thank you page, you are now worth more than 500 random visitors to the owner of the site. Because the owner knows that if he can sell you on one thing it is much more likely that he can sell you on at least one more related thing.
I would much rather talk to 100 people who just bought something from me than 50,000 people who may or may not be interested in what I have to sell. Those 100 people are already in buying mode and already trust me. Put those two things together and you get a powerful combination.
So getting control of the thank you page and using it effectively becomes very important.
If you are involved in network marketing and you just promote the web page you were given, it is the company that generally controls the thank you page. They get the benefit not you.
If you own your own site (it’s not that complicated or expensive to do), then you have a way of controlling the thank you page,
Most of the thank you pages I’ve seen are either boring or hideous. Boring is just saying thank you. Hideous is loading the page with a whole boatload of banners that take a long time to load and mostly don’t look well together.
Here’s a better way.
Generally one or two short paragraphs is enough for the thank you. For the rest of the page you want a product or a service that is somehow related to what your customer just bought or signed up for. The closer the match, the more likely your customer will cooperate with what you are trying to do.
The bulk of your thank you page should be a complete sales letter/sales pitch that you would see on a regular web site. If that is what it takes to sell your product if you were marketing it by itself then that is what it is going to take to market it to your customers.
Except that now, you have people who are in buying mode and who trust you. Big difference. Much less sales resistance.
So to recap, you need two things to make thank you pages work for you.
First, you need your own website. Godaddy.com is a reliable service I use for my websites. For $50 a year you pay for your domain registration fees and get a year of web hosting. For another $50 - $100 you can get some college computer geek to create your web pages and load it up to your site.
So for less than $200 and about a week of work (mostly by someone else) you can have your own web site promoting your product. There are many other reasons to have your own site that I won’t go into here. But for now controlling your own thank you page is a big plus.
Second, you need two opportunities to promote. Obviously if you just have one opportunity then using the thank you page in way I just described is not going to be very helpful. The internet has literally thousands of different of business opportunities to choose from. Just pick two that you are interested in and you are off and running.
You should have the product that is either easier to sell or cheaper as the main product you promote. So when people come to your website, they see that first. The reason for this is that people aren’t going to see your thank you page if they have sales resistance to your first product.
Remember that once you make the sale and the customer is in buying mode and trusts you, making the more complicated sale will be much easier than trying to do it the other way around.
So take a look at your marketing efforts and see where thank you page marketing can give you a boost

Some Useful tips to get people to read your content
The reason we all write blogs and content for our websites is because we have something that we feel is important to say, and we want to get that message out to the public and to our potential consumers for help visit www.feed-reader-links.com. Unfortunately, as my boss has pointed out in one of his posts that only 16 of people actually read blog posts and the rest of we simply scan them for pertinent information. I have to be honest, as a reader and a writer I found this to be a shocking number and had a bit of a hard time accepting it. But, as Jeff explained to me, most of us are thrown so much information in one day that we simply don’t have enough time to read it all.
I think that’s only part of the reason though. Truthfully? There are a lot of badly written, boring posts and articles floating around on the web and most of us can’t be bothered to read them to get the information we need out of it. But, the good news is that I do believe if something is truly well written or entertaining that people will read it. Therefore, in order to get our message across, we have to make our writing more appealing to our readership. Fortunately, these few simple copywriting tips can be used to help you tighten your writing and reach further than that 16 percent.
1.) Plan Ahead
Listen, if you don’t know where you’re going with your writing, than your readers don’t stand a chance. Before you sit down and put fingers to keyboard, think about what you want to say and what the logical flow of your thoughts should be. Your writing should be orderly and have direction for help visit www.instant-blog-and-ping.com. If you’re looking for a great starting place, try this simple adage: Tell people what you’re going to tell them, tell them, and then tell them what you’ve told them. It’ll help lend focus to your thoughts.
2.) Know your Audience
It seems like common sense, but you’d be surprised. For example, if you know that your travel site appeals to young urban professionals, writing a blog post about retirement travel is probably not going to go over well. Think about your idea and spin it: Maybe your blog post could be about where to send your retired parents on vacation. Find a way to make your new product or service appeal to your existing audience.
3.) The K.I.S.S. Principle
In other words – Keep it Simple Stupid (Hey, don’t blame me, I didn’t invent the acronym). Did you know that most newspapers write their stories for a grade seven education level? Writing for the web shouldn’t be any different. And, while it&rsqu
o;s great that you have a PhD in entomology, but if your readers don’t know you’re talking about bugs, you aren’t going to get your points across.
4.) N.M.A.P. (No more acronyms please)
Given the previous entry, this one is a little ironic. But here’s the thing. Just because you know what you’re talking about when you mention a BOGOFF (Buy One Get One For Free) or E& OE (Errors & Omissions Excepted); doesn’t mean that the people reading your blog do. Explain what your acronyms mean before you lose all your readers with your technical talk.
5.) Mix it up!
Sometimes copy can feel really stale and boring, but you can’t quite figure out why. It’s often due to the overuse of certain words in your copy, so take a look over what you’ve written. If you see that every sentence starts with the word ‘the’ then you need to make a change. This also applies to words in a paragraph, if you’ve described something as ‘good’ four times in the past three sentences it’s time to pick a new adjective.
6.) Use Awesome Words Sparingly
Being overly descriptive with your writing is not necessarily a good thing. If you were writing a novel, sure, there might be room for more flowery turns of phrase. Web copy though, should be more simple and direct. Don’t over illustrate what you’re trying to say, just say it, otherwise you’ll lose your readers.
7.) Text Not
It doesn’t matter how busy you are; text speak does not belong in proper copy. Take the time to write out each of the words you want to say, otherwise you’ll turn off your readers. Because, not only is text speak annoying, it can also be hard to understand, so resist the urge, kwim? (Oops!)
8.) Slash
Once you’ve finished writing your blog or article, save and close the file and walk away from it. After you’ve taken a little bit of time (20 – 30 minutes) come back to it and start editing. Your fresh eyes will help you be able to see the mistakes and the unnecessary parts more easily. And remember, if you think you’ve gotten a bit too wordy or it runs a little too long, than it probably has.
I think that’s only part of the reason though. Truthfully? There are a lot of badly written, boring posts and articles floating around on the web and most of us can’t be bothered to read them to get the information we need out of it.

Significant Information Concerning Personal Injury Claims In California
In our daily lives, we are always prone to unexpected occurrences, for example, accidents in the roads and in public places. While a few may say, they are lucky to be left untouched by an incident, physically and emotionally, many of these accidents result to personal injuries varying from simple to severe, catastrophic to fatal.
Let us say you were in California and were involved in a car accident, you may suffer not only physical and emotional injuries but also damages to property. Likewise, you may also experience this if you fall victim to accidents in public and work places and even your very home!
Carelessness or malpractice of health/medical service provider, lawyers and other professional service providers can also result to inflicting you with injuries.
When you become a victim of a wrongful or negligent act committed by another person or entity and resulted to injuries and property damages, you have to assert for your rights to recover damages.
California based personal injury lawyers who are experts in handling claims will be your ally in this matter.
Evaluation of your personal injury claim
Your personal injury lawyer will review the facts of the case in order to determine whether it has been another person or entity's wrongful act, which caused your injuries and losses. He or she will assess whether you have the elements of a personal injury claim or not.
Wrongful conduct has three facets:
1. Negligence – this is the most usual starting point in recovering for injuries and losses caused by an accident. According to a rule of law in the principles of personal injury, individuals are liable for each of their careless acts.
2. Intentional misconduct – recovering for damages caused by intentional misconduct may come about when someone hurts you or damages your property intentionally.
3. Strict Liability – companies and individuals could be liable for damages based on the policies of strict liability if they committed activities that are dangerous and detrimental to the well-being of other persons. Conduct of bomb testing, manufacture of potentially dangerous or defective products is an example of circumstances involving strict liability.
The value of your personal injury claim
A highly skilled lawyer who has already attained quite a lengthy experience in handling personal injury claims can give you an estimation of what your claim would be worth. Here are the following compensations you may be entitled to receive:
- Medical treatment of injuries / continuous therapy for trauma
- Lost wages and future earnings if you will be unable to take up your old job in the aftermath of the injury
- Cost of replacing and repairing damaged properties
Other compensation that may given an estimation of monetary value:
- pain and suffering
- physical handicap or disfigurement
- embarrassment
- loss of enjoyment in life
- other such psychological injuries
Sources of compensation
The personal injury claim would not be worth it if the person who had been liable for the injuries sustained becomes unable to pay for the damages. The personal injury lawyer has the responsibility to identify the insurance and assets available that can compensate the damages caused by the injuries.
In processing personal injury law claims in California and elsewhere, it is the responsibility of the one filing the claim to provide sufficient proof of the liability of the defendant. Thus, the personal injury lawyer must be systematic and organized during the procedure of obtaining your medical records of your injuries, police reports of the accident, interviewing witnesses, and acquiring other pertinent information in proving the claim.
Settling your claim and recovering satisfactory compensation without having the case progress into a lawsuit is a successful enough feat for any injury attorney.

What Are the Legal Requirements of the Lemon Law?
Manufacturers have for years been putting out false propaganda that a consumer does not have a lemon law claim unless he or she has four repair attempts for the same defect within the first 18,000 miles. This is simply incorrect. It is an effort by car manufacturers to discourage otherwise worthy consumers from pursuing claims for defective products.
The correct standard is whether the consumer has given the manufacturer a reasonable opportunity to repair the vehicle within the warranty period. A reasonable opportunity usually involves more than one repair attempt; I have seen few cases succeed with two repair attempts unless it’s a very serious defect which threatens the safety of the occupants of the car. "Within the warranty period" means exactly what it says: if your car has a drive train warranty for 70,000 miles and the drive train is defective, then you have 70,000 miles to have the manufacturer make the necessary repairs effectively. If they don’t fix the drive train, and if you have given the manufacturer a reasonable number of repair attempts, then you have a lemon law claim.
Also, if the manufacturer cannot fix the problem within the warranty period, and you notify the manufacturer or its dealership representative in writing within 60 days after the last failure to repair the problem, then the warranty does not expire as to that defect. Thus, if the consumer above had notified the manufacturer of its failure to repair the vehicle within 60 days after the last unsuccessful repair attempt, then the warranty does not expire as to that drive train defect.
There is something called the "lemon law presumption", and this is the only part of the lemon law where there is a requirement of 4 repair attempts within the first 18,000 miles. This is a legal presumption affecting the burden of proof in a lemon law lawsuit. Normally, the plaintiff bears the burden of proving that he or she has given the manufacturer a reasonable number of repair attempts to fix the vehicle. If, however, the consumer proves that he or she brought the vehicle in for repairs for the same defect four times within the first 18,000 miles, or if he or she proves that the vehicle was out of service 30 or more days within the first 18,000 miles, then the law shifts the burden of proof to the manufacturer to prove that it was not given a reasonable opportunity to fix the vehicle.
The consumer gets the benefit of the presumption if he or she has two or more repair attempts for a serious safety issue within the first 18 months or 18,000 miles. The safety issue must be a serious safety issue which threatens the safety of the occupants of the car.
As a practical matter, plenty of lemon law cases go forward without the lemon law presumption. The only requirement upon the consumer is that he or she give the manufacturer a reasonable number of repair attempts within the warranty period. If this is done, and the vehicle still is not repaired, the consumer has a lemon law case.

How To Make Money Online
imagine what it would be like to earn thousands of dollars each month, and all you have to do is set it up once, and watch the money pooring into your account.
i have spent months trying to figure out a way, to make money online. So one day i stumbled over this website, and this guy is just brilliant. The key is multiple income streams, there's videos, to show you how to get started and make passive income streams, and earn a couple of thousand dollar a month, without really working.
10.000$ dollar a month may sound like a heck of a lot money to you, but it's only the tip of the iceberg. in fact it's easy. start out with watcing the free videos on the website. and join when your ready to earn $
Why almost nobody online gets this
The reason why people dont understand this is because its just such an obvious move. Surely any logical mind would conclude that if you want to get in on the online action you need your own web site right? Its counterintuitive to think anything else.
What is the task anyway? So what is exactly the task before you? You want to make a passive income of 6 figures annually which works out to about $2000 per week or more. To acheive that in 90 days (commonly less) we are going to start with immediate profit paths and work to replace your job income. Once you have that set up in the next 4 to 10 days then you can begin looking at expanding on that success by replicating it. We use the pareto principle extensively in this business. Also known as the 80/20 rule which states that 80% of your results will come from only 20% of the things you do. If this principle is accurate (which I can assure you it is) then by simply cutting out that 80% of busy work and focussing 100% of our time on those 20% profit yielding activities, we would effectively quadruple our profits.
Overnight ongoing profits Life is funny, one minute you are sitting there minding your own business, the next minute an email arrives in your inbox informing you
that you have just made your first sale. That is fine by you and you consider your newly aquired $36.49 and wonder if you should retire soon. Then something happens. Another similar email arrives in your inbox within the following 4 hours.
Now you are perplexed. You get curious and wonder what the hell is going on. Over the next week you get many such emails in fact over 14 of them and you still don’t know anything about them apart from the fact that you did 10 dozen things over the last six months marketing this product and these sales may be coming from any one of them. It occurs to you that if you could just find out where these sales are coming from, you would be quite certain to do more of it and double or triple your sudden income.
it's simple. Just follow the instructions

An Original and Unique Wedding Invitation
It is very important to create a wedding invitation which is of very high quality. This is of course because the invitation cards will set the tone of the wedding. However, you may not really know what you have to do in order to get such an invitation.
In fact, it is very difficult to quantify the notion of good quality. An expensive invitation card may not mean that it is a card of good quality. You can spend a lot of money to make the card fancy. However, a fancy card may not be necessarily a good invitation card. In fact, a good wedding invitation should reflect the theme of your wedding. Besides, it should also reflect the personalities of you and your spouse. Of course it should be able to tell your guests the information related to your event. The card will be a good one if it can fulfill these functions.
As a result, you may try to personalize the card. You can make your wedding invitation unique by personalizing it. However, you may also find it difficult to make it unique. Creating a wedding invitation is not a problem in mathematics. There is no fixed formula to make it unique. Yet, there are some tips and steps you may consider so that you can make your wedding invitation more unique.
It is very important for you to make the invitations reflect the personality of you and you spouse. For example, you will go for a formal and classic design if you are the kind of person who think etiquette is very important. On the contrary, such a formal design will not be your choice if you do not like something which is too formal. You can also think about your hobbies when you are designing the wedding invitation. If you love fishing very much, you may make the card such that it is in the shape of a fish. It will certainly make the card unique and interesting.
You may even work with a graphic designer in order to create a perfect wedding invitation. However, you will need to make sure that you can spend the time to be involved in the design process. You will need to let the designer know what you like. You will need to communicate well with the designer. Besides, it may take you more time if you are working with a designer to create the invitation card. Remember to start working on the card as early as possible!
One last point is that, you have to make sure that the wordings in the cards are easy to understand. You do not need to follow any template when you are creating the wordings for your cards. However, it is very important that you include all the information about your wedding in the card. For example, you must include the date and time of your wedding on the card. Of course you may even need to add more information if it is needed. One example of such additional information will be a location map.

5 Essential Employment Documents Your Business Needs
There are plenty of kinds of business documents that a company needs to conform with the law and help it to run more smoothly, and employment is one of the most important areas where you should make sure that your paperwork is up to scratch. As any HR manager will tell you, dealing with the myriad demands and concerns of your employees can be like navigating a legal minefield – high quality, reliable documents can be invaluable in helping you deal constructively with personnel. Many employers settle for just having good quality employment contracts, but there are many additional areas where employment documents can help your business…
Employment Contracts
Naturally, the most important employment document is the employment contract. These need to be comprehensive, covering all the significant areas (such as a detailed outline of the position, holiday allowance, notice period, prohibited behaviour and any applicable confidentiality agreements). You may need a wide variety of employment contracts – depending on the nature of your business.
Disciplinary Documents
In an increasingly litigious society, employers have to be very careful when they handle disciplinary and dismissal issues. Written warnings and dismissal documents need to be carefully phrased, and your disciplinary procedure needs to follow the letter of the law – if you don’t have the right business documents or your company deviates from legal procedure you could face an employment tribunal for wrongful dismissal.
Anti-Discrimination Policy
It is now recommended for all UK businesses to have a comprehensive anti-discrimination policy, outlining what constitutes unacceptable behaviour, the methods the company is using to combat discrimination, and the official procedure for employee complaints. This business document is typically included as part of the employee handbook, and needs to cover discrimination on age, religion, sexual orientation, gender, ethnicity and disability.
Maternity and Paternity Policy
Your business needs to have an up to date policy on maternity and paternity leave, outlining the conditions concerning the length of leave (26 weeks Ordinary Maternity Leave or 52 weeks with Additional Maternity Leave), the renumeration that is offered (this must conform with the requirements of Statutory Maternity Pay), the rights of an employee to return to a job at an equal or higher level after maternity/paternity leave is concluded. This is potentially a very sensitive area – make sure your business is equipped to handle it.
Sickness and Absence Policy
UK businesses lose over £13 billion each year to staff sickness and absence, and many companies struggle with a culture of absenteeism that costs them heavily. A written policy concerning sickness and absence can be a crucial business document that helps to prevent this problem, outlining actions that will be taken if repeated sick days are taken. This solves a two fold problem, by providing a framework of support to people who are taking time off for genuine reasons and discouraging people from taking needless sick days.
Just remember, with all of these documents it is important to keep up to speed on the latest legal developments. Employment law is constantly evolving, and missing out on important updates can be disastrous

Living With Fibromyalgia - Tired Of The Pain And Of Feeling Tired?
Fibromyalgia, what is it? It is not very surprising that you don't have any idea about fibromyalgia as it is a syndrome which causes many problems in the body. The word has been formed with two words taken from Greek and Latin which means pain in the muscle. Does that mean that muscular pain is known as fibromyalgia?
No, do not get confused if you have some minor muscular pain. If the pain diminishes within few days then there is nothing to worry but if the pain in the muscles, joints and ligaments persist for more than three months then there are the chances that you might be suffering from fibromyalgia.
Facts about Fibromyalgia
Is it true that only middle aged women suffer from fibromyalgia? No, it has been observed that even men and children suffer from this disease. What causes fibromyalgia? The causes are still not known Research is going on and many factors are being considered but one reason that all the doctors say is possible is the effect of a traumatic experience at some stage of life.
Does it mean that there is no cure for this disease and a person has to live a painful life till death? No, that is not true. It has been found that if the disease is treated at an early stage then the patients have fully recovered and were bale to lead a normal life. What about the people who have been diagnosed at a late stage?
How to live with fibromyalgia?
Yes, your concern is quite natural as this syndrome causes so many problems that leading a normal life becomes difficult. But that does not mean that you should lose hope surrender yourself to pain and suffering. Always remember there is no problem in life which does not have a solution. You can also lead a normal life in spite of suffering from this disease.
The only thing you have to do is bring a little change in your lifestyle. First of all change your eating habits. Eat more fruits and vegetables which will provide all the required nutrition to the body. Stop the intake of tea, coffee or alcohol.
Do not do heavy or strenuous work. As you may tend to develop minor loss of memory always keep a diary where you can note down the important things. Take the medicines provided by the doctor and follow all the restrictions sincerely.
Oh yes! The most important thing and that are do not forget to do some light exercises so that the flexibility of the body parts can be maintained and the paralyzing pain can be reduced.

Nine Ways to Know It’s Time to Expand Your Marketing
By now you’ve probably read one or more of the jillion articles being published on the subject of how and why you should market in a recession. But, let’s face it. Marketing in a recession is not right for all companies.
How do you know if it’s right for you?
Here are nine triggers that should make you think seriously about expanding your marketing efforts now.
You have some cash. If you’ve got the resources, it’s rarely ever a bad idea to increase marketing. In 25+ years of marketing, I’ve never run across a company that had perfected its marketing efforts to the point where nothing more was needed. In a bad economy, extra cash invested in marketing can pay off many, many times over.
You’re a risk taker. It goes without saying that trigger #1 is pretty much a requirement. But you also need to be comfortable operating outside of the norm. Most businesses will cut back on marketing during a recession. It’s a very common, knee-jerk reaction. You’ve got to be able to sleep at night while you’re moving against the crowd. Most successful entrepreneurs are pretty good at this.
Your competitors are hiding. As I mentioned above, the most common reaction to a recession includes whacking the marketing spend. When your competitors do this, they create a great opportunity for you to jump in and fill the void. If you’re clever, it might not even cost you any extra money.
Your marketing has succeeded and you have market share to protect. This is the reverse of trigger #3. If you pass the test in trigger #1, don’t become one of those companies in hiding. Some smart competitor will pull a #3 on you.
You need to sell to people who don’t know you personally. Trust and integrity are very big in a recession – especially this one where so many problems have been caused by people who were supposed to know what they were doing. Marketing – especially in the form of client testimonials, case studies, education, word of mouth and thought leadership programs – can help you gain your prospects’ trust.
Your sales people are cold calling instead of chasing warm leads. This is a classic sign that you need marketing to find and develop leads for your sales team. Cold calling is a struggle in the best of times, and your most talented closers are never the most successful at it.
Your customers love you. You must be doing something right. Now’s a great time to get the word out to other people.
You believe in marketing. A recession is probably not the best time to test a shaky belief in marketing. Marketing is a process and people are taking longer to make buying decisions now. You’ll most likely get too nervous and quit too soon. Then you’ll have a difficult time ever learning to benefit from marketing. If you question the value of marketing, maybe you should wait.
You like to win. If stealing market share from your competitors, growing your business while others are just hoping to survive, and coming out of the recession on top motivate you, now is a great time to act. Buyers need you. There’s less competition. You may find some good deals on marketing costs. What more could you want?

Personal Branding: It's All About You!
When you are in business, network marketing is the way you show people who you are and what your business is all about. This article will show you about network marketing and how it's all about you and your business.
Network Marketing (Direct Sales, Internet Marketing, Online Business) is all about you. It is about branding yourself. It is not about your product, service, or opportunity. Your company pay plan means nothing. Even the famous and rich founder of the company or their track record can be totally forgotten. Keep reading and you will learn why.
The Network Marketing arena is actually a small world. You will find a lot of the same people joining a lot of the same programs or companies. If you have been in this industry long enough you are probably used to seeing the same people again and again, as you and them are exploring the new life that enters our industry at a rapid pace. It is normal for most people and even expected to be in many more than one business. In fact, it is not uncommon to be, or have been, part of a dozen or even more over time.
How can this benefit you as a network marketer? It is not only you who sees other marketers time and again, they also see you time and again. But in order for you to make an impact on them and draw them to you, you need to make a positive impression that will be a memory attached to your name. To be the person that this person decides to join the next business under you need to attract them to you, and they need to like you. This means you need to create personal branding for yourself. You need to create an opportunity for them to actually WANT to be a part of your business, buy your product, or whatever else your final goal is.
As I said in the introduction, people are not interested only in the product, service, or opportunity. The pay plan alone will not make them join you. YOU will make them join you. That means that the impression you give them will help them decide if they want to work with you or not.
So how do you create personal branding? I will cover this briefly because there are really many possibilities, but there are some major tips I can give you:
1. Always strive to offer more support to your downline, more helpful tips and content for your e-mail list, and more quality relationships than anyone else.
2. Use websites to brand yourself. Offer people who don't know you the ability to read and learn more about you online, without even interacting personally with you.
3. On every promotion you have, include your name, and preferably a photo picture, with a personal touch. If you promote splash or lead capture pages online try to create your own so you can add a personal touch and a photo.
4. Write a regular newsletter to your contact list. If you have a blog you can easily post your newsletters to it and increase traffic and exposure.
There is much more you can do but that should help you get started. Remember to focus on creating quality relationships with others. As a rule, ask more about them and their experiences than you do talking about your own. If you stop trying to think of a way to get them into your business and instead focus on helping others and connecting with them then you will start to experience more joy and accomplishment in your business. The students I have had and the people I have seen most successful in network marketing are those that you can recognize by their name alone. Next time when someone sees you in another business, especially in social networks, give them a reason to say... "I remember you because..."
